The Neon Fields are flat ash plains covered in glowing yellow pillars of Neon Rock, with yellow giant mushrooms in between. This is where the Neon Golem lives.

Terrain
* Ashen Soil (above height 126) on Volcanic Rock, like the Acid Plains.
* The flattest of the four biomes.

Neon pillars
The pillars stand in large fields: on a grid of roughly one spot every 7 blocks, about 8 % of the spots get a pillar, but only where a field is. Between the fields the ground stays bare. All pillars are solid Neon Rock, anchored 3 blocks deep in the ground. The thicker pillars get one step narrower in their top third.

Pillar !! Height above ground !! Width
Thin || 9 blocks || 1 block
Thick || 12 blocks || 3 blocks (diamond shape)
Tall || 18 blocks || 3 blocks (diamond shape)
Giant || 24 blocks || 5 blocks (diamond shape)

Single pillars of the same kinds also appear in the Acid Plains.

Mushrooms and ground cover
* Yellow giant mushrooms in three sizes (small 40, medium 40, large 20).
* Sparse patches of Puffy Green Common Mushroom, Poison Bramble and Short Poisoned Grass.

Creatures
Neon Snail || 8 || 1
Ash Mouse || 4 || 1
Acid Crows fly here by day and Glow Bats by night. Spawn density is lower than in the forests. See Creatures.

Above
Neon islands float over the fields: Volcanic Rock with an Ashen Soil top, small yellow mushrooms, small neon spires 3 to 7 blocks high, Yellow Crystals and Yellow Glowrock in the underside. See Floating Islands.
