Most ocean biomes exist in a cold, a temperate and a tropical version, each with the fish of its climate. Biome IDs for
/locate
are on [[BetterBiomes:Zones Overview#Oceans|Zones Overview]].
Basalt hills on the sea floor, about 70 blocks across, with a vent crater, glowing cracks, bubbling seagrass and hydrothermal vents. In vanilla these vents only appear at the bottom of the trenches.
