# Use the drive to open it and put Storage Cells into its slots. The slots accept nothing but Storage Cells.<br />

The drive itself is not storage: the cells in it do not show up as items in the terminal, only their contents do. To take a cell out, open the drive.<br />

Each cell carries its contents with it. If you take a filled cell out of the drive, its items leave the network with it, and they come back when you put the cell into any drive again, in this network or another one.<br />
