<p>NewRanch wiki</p> <p><b>New page</b></p><div>The &#039;&#039;&#039;Old Well&#039;&#039;&#039; is an abandoned well in the middle zone (&#039;&#039;The Withered Roots&#039;&#039;) of the [[NewRanch:Dried Fields|Dried Fields]]. There are four to six per world. Each stands on a bricked shaft that drops into the chambers below, and you can climb in. Old Wells cannot be crafted or carried away.<br /> <br /> == Repairing ==<br /> Right-click the well while carrying an [[NewRanch:Irrigation Part|Irrigation Part]]. The part is used up and the well starts running:<br /> * its shaft floods six tiles deep,<br /> * it fills a [[NewRanch:Watering Can|Watering Can]] on right-click and feeds a [[NewRanch:Sprinkler|Sprinkler]] within 8 tiles, like a built [[NewRanch:Well|Well]],<br /> * it keeps raising nearby field soil one stage at a time (about 9 tiles to each side and down to 9 tiles below).<br /> The rubble at the bottom gives 1–2 [[NewRanch:Ancient Grain Seeds|Ancient Grain Seeds]], a 50% chance of another Irrigation Part, a 50% chance of an Empty Bucket and a 1 in 3 chance of 1–3 gold coins.<br /> <br /> The well does not get around Skeletron: before he is defeated, the ground around it stops at the Moist stage.<br /> <br /> == The ghosts ==<br /> Repairing a well calls up the ghost of the farmer who dug it.
