LightweightWhiteboard:Zoom and Pan
Zooming and panning only change the view. They do not change the board and are not part of the history.
Zoom
| Action | How |
|---|---|
| Zoom at the pointer | Hold Ctrl and turn the mouse wheel. The point under the pointer stays in place.
|
| Zoom in, zoom out | The magnifier buttons in the toolbar. Each click changes the zoom by a factor of 1.25, centered on the middle of the view. |
| Back to 100 % | Click the zoom level between the magnifier buttons. |
| Fit to window | The Fit to window button. The whole board fits into the view. Small boards are enlarged. |
- The zoom level ranges from 5 % to 1600 %.
- The toolbar shows the current zoom level, for example
89 %. - When a board is opened or reverted, it is fitted into the view. A board that is smaller than the view is shown at 100 % and is not enlarged.
- From 200 % on, pixels are shown as sharp squares, so you can see single pixels.
- All sizes on the board, such as the pen size or the pointer position in the status bar, are in board pixels and do not depend on the zoom level.
Pan
When the board is larger than the view, you can move the view:
- drag with the middle mouse button
- hold
Spaceand drag with the left mouse button. The pointer turns into a hand. - use the mouse wheel without
Ctrl, or the scroll bars
Panning works everywhere on the board, also over a floating image.
