Acid Grounds adds a new biome region to Zone 4 of Hytale, the Devastated Lands. Deep in the Cinder Wastes and the Charred Woodlands the ground turns black: ash plains, violet and toxic green forests and fields of glowing neon pillars. Floating islands with a core of Mithril hang in the sky above, and chasms below open straight into the void, their walls glowing just above the abyss.

What the mod adds
- Four biomes that share one region: Acid Plains, Violet Forest, Toxic Forest and Neon Fields.
- Floating islands between height 150 and 300, each with a Mithril core and plants that match the biome below.
- Chasms that cut through the ground into the void, with walls of glowrock and some Adamantite.
- New blocks: Neon Rock, three colors of Glowrock, Violet and Toxic wood, leaves and planks. See Blocks and Resources.
- Three Glow Lanterns crafted from the new planks and glowrock. See Crafting.
- Three creatures that stay peaceful until you mine nearby, and six critters. See Creatures.
Quick start
- Travel to Zone 4 and look for black ground, purple sky and yellow pillars. See Finding the Acid Grounds.
- Collect Violet or Toxic Logs and turn them into planks at the Builder's Workbench.
- Climb down the wall of a chasm (carefully) or reach the underside of a floating island to mine glowrock.
- Craft Glow Lanterns at the Furniture Workbench.
- Mine only when you are ready for a fight: the local creatures attack anyone who breaks blocks near them.
