The Violet Crawler is a violet spider with acid-green eyes. It hunts in small packs in the Violet Forest.
Behavior
- Peaceful until provoked. It turns on you when you break a block within 25 blocks of it, or when you attack it. See Provoking creatures.
- Spawns in groups of 2 to 3, so one provoked crawler rarely comes alone.
- Moves like the vanilla Spider and, like it, ignores cobwebs.
Attack
- Bite: 23 physical damage (±10 %).
- Poison: a bite can also poison you, at most once every 8 seconds. The poison deals 6 poison damage every 5 seconds for 16 seconds.
- The Antidote effect protects you: a crawler cannot poison a target that has it.

Tips
- Clear the crawlers around a spot before you start chopping violet trees there.
