Requirements
| VS Code | 1.90 or newer (engines.vscode is ^1.90.0)
|
|---|---|
| Other extensions | None |

Installing
From the Marketplace
- Open the Extensions view in VS Code (
Ctrl+Shift+X). - Search for Studio ZIP by MutigerAffe.
- Click Install.
You can also open the Marketplace page in the browser and click Install there.
From the Quick Open box
Press Ctrl+P, paste the following line and press Enter:
ext install MutigerAffe.studio-zip
After installing
Nothing has to be set up. Click an archive in the Explorer and it opens in a Studio ZIP tab. See Archive Tab.
Whether one click or a double click opens a file depends on the VS Code setting workbench.list.openMode, not on Studio ZIP.
Updating from an older version
Versions before 4.0.0 used a different extension id. VS Code does not replace the old extension with 4.0.0 on its own. If you have an older version installed, uninstall it in the Extensions view and install the current one. See Version History.
Uninstalling
Open the Extensions view, click the gear icon next to Studio ZIP and choose Uninstall. Mounted archives are workspace folders, so remove them first with Studio ZIP: Unmount Archive Workspace Folder or by removing the folder from the workspace.
