PocketBots:Capsules
Every PocketBot lives in a capsule. There are two kinds: sealed capsules that still have to be opened, and bot capsules that hold a bot.
Sealed capsules
| Icon | Item | Stack size |
|---|---|---|
| Sealed Bot Capsule (Common) | 16 | |
| Sealed Bot Capsule (Uncommon) | 16 | |
| Sealed Bot Capsule (Rare) | 16 | |
| Sealed Bot Capsule (Epic) | 16 | |
| Sealed Bot Capsule (Legendary) | 16 |
Sealed capsules are found in chests (see Finding Capsules) or made by fusion. Right-click one to open it. The chat shows the result, for example "Capsule opened: Bolt-7 – Spark, Rare: …". If your inventory has no room for the opened capsule, you get a message and nothing is lost.
Bot capsules
Opening a sealed capsule turns it into a bot capsule such as Spark Capsule (Rare). Bot capsules do not stack.
- The icon shows the bot inside.
- The item name shows the bot's name and type, for example "Bolt-7 (Spark)", with "· Spawned" added while the bot is out.
- The tooltip lists every bonus, one per line.
- Right-click deploys or recalls the bot.
Everything about the bot, including its name, color, bonuses and, for Lugg, the contents of its chest, is stored in the capsule. You can keep capsules in chests and trade them.
Fusion
Two sealed capsules of the same rarity can be fused into one sealed capsule of the next rarity. Fusion is the only way to upgrade a capsule.
| Input | Output | Station | Time |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2 × Sealed Bot Capsule (Common) | 1 × Sealed Bot Capsule (Uncommon) | Workbench, Tinkering | 2 s |
| 2 × Sealed Bot Capsule (Uncommon) | 1 × Sealed Bot Capsule (Rare) | Workbench, Tinkering | 2 s |
| 2 × Sealed Bot Capsule (Rare) | 1 × Sealed Bot Capsule (Epic) | Workbench, Tinkering | 2 s |
| 2 × Sealed Bot Capsule (Epic) | 1 × Sealed Bot Capsule (Legendary) | Workbench, Tinkering | 2 s |
Only sealed capsules can be fused. One Legendary capsule therefore costs 16 Common capsules.
Other capsules
- Bot Capsule (rarity) without a bot name in its title is a generic capsule. It is used for bots that other mods add through the Modding API. An empty capsule, for example from the Creative inventory, is filled with a random bot on first use.
- Beep Capsule (…, old) and Digby Capsule (…, old) come from early test versions. Right-click converts them into the current capsules.
