Utility Connect is a hard dependency. It keeps track of which blocks are linked by pipes, also across server restarts. If it is missing from the mods folder, the server does not load Better Storage at all. Update both mods together.
Better Storage 1.1.0 and newer do not run on Hytale 0.6.x.
Benches from other mods
Any crafting or processing bench, from vanilla or from another mod, can go into the Storage Core and unlocks its recipes in the terminal. Bench tiers and their upgrade costs are read from the bench itself, so upgrades in the terminal work for modded benches too. Recipes that need bench add-ons (augments) cannot be crafted from the terminal.
Other containers
Only the mod's own Storage Units and Storage Cells in Storage Drives are part of a network. Vanilla chests and containers from other mods do not join it.
World generation
The new ores are added to the existing world generation of the Devastated Lands. Better Storage does not replace any vanilla world generation files, so it gets along with other world generation mods.
The ores only appear in chunks that have not been generated yet. In an existing world, explore new parts of the Devastated Lands to find them.
Multiplayer
Several players can use terminals of the same network. Every click reads the current contents of the network, so a terminal always works with what is actually there. If someone took an item a moment before you, the terminal says "That item is no longer in the network."
