BetterStorage:Storage Cells
Storage Cells are the main storage of a large network. Put them into a Storage Drive, and each cell adds its stack slots to the network. A cell stores its contents itself, so a filled cell can be taken out and moved around without losing anything.
Tiers
All cells have a stack size of 1. Each slot holds one full stack of an item.
"Needs" is the lowest Storage Assembler tier that has the recipe. Higher tiers can craft it too.
Recipes
T1 is crafted from scratch. Every higher tier is an upgrade of the tier below it: the old cell is one of the ingredients.
| Output | Ingredients | Time |

| Storage Cell T1 | 1 Memory Module I, 2 Copper Plate | 3 s |
| Storage Cell T2 | 1 Storage Cell T1, 2 Gold Foil, 1 Circuit Board | instant |
| Storage Cell T3 | 1 Storage Cell T2, 1 Memory Module I, 2 Thorium Plate, 1 Processor | instant |
| Storage Cell T4 | 1 Storage Cell T3, 1 Memory Module II, 2 Cobalt Plate | instant |
| Storage Cell T5 | 1 Storage Cell T4, 1 Memory Module II, 2 Adamantite Plate, 1 Processor | instant |
| Storage Cell T6 | 1 Storage Cell T5, 1 Memory Module III, 2 Lodestone Plate | instant |
| Storage Cell T7 | 1 Storage Cell T6, 1 Memory Module III, 1 Pulsating Substance | instant |

All cell recipes are in the Storage Cells category of the Storage Assembler.
Upgrading a filled cell
When you upgrade a cell, the new cell keeps the contents of the old one. Where the old cell has to be depends on where you craft:
- At a Storage Assembler: the old cell must be in your inventory or hotbar. A cell in a nearby chest does not count; the craft is cancelled with the message "Keep the Storage Cell you want to upgrade in your inventory - its contents move into the new cell."
- In the terminal: the old cell is taken from the network's storage, so it must be stored in the network as an item. A cell that sits in a drive is storage space, not an item, and is not used.
Moving cells
- A cell taken out of a drive keeps everything in it. Put it into another drive, in the same network or a different one, and its items are back.
- Its items do not show up in the terminal while the cell is outside a drive.
- An empty cell is the same item as a newly crafted one.
