The Digger's Backpack swallows the bulk you dig through. Dirt, sand, gravel and raw stone pile up fast when you tunnel or level ground, and this backpack keeps them out of your inventory.
Takes
- Soil of every kind: dirt, grass blocks, sand, gravel, clay, mud, snow and more
- Rubble
- Raw rock: stone, cobble and mossy cobble of every rock type
It does not take worked stone. Bricks, stairs, roofs, smooth stone, pillars and the other building shapes go into the Builder's Backpack. Gems, crystals and salt rock go into the Miner's Backpack. The exact rules are on Item Filters.

Tips
- Keep a stack of stone in your hotbar for building. Your stack stays where it is, only newly picked-up stone goes into the backpack. See Auto-Pickup.
- A Big Digger's Backpack is worth it early: raw stone and dirt are what fills an inventory first.
