The Fertile Soil is a placeable object.
Obtaining
Fertile Soil cannot be crafted. It is grown: keep watering Parched Soil in the Dried Fields until it has passed through Moist and Green. Until Skeletron has been defeated, the ground cannot get past Moist, so Fertile Soil is out of reach. Mined Fertile Soil drops itself and can be placed elsewhere.
Notes
It is the best farmland in the mod: crops on it grow twice as fast and yield two extra, and it stays fertile. Seasons apply to it like to any other soil.
