BetterBiomes:Wildlife and Atmosphere
Many Better Biomes biomes have an environment of their own with its own weather, water color, particles and sounds. They spawn the vanilla animals and monsters you would expect there, and some get extra creatures. All creatures are vanilla creatures.
Animals
A biome with its own environment spawns the animals and monsters of the vanilla environment it is based on, plus these extras:

In the Dead Forest, a Skeleton Fighter or Skeleton Scout climbs out of a restless grave when you get close.

Biomes with their own environment also get the ambient sounds of the environment they are based on; the Willow Swamp and the Mangrove Swamp get swamp sounds.
Northern lights
At night, colored northern lights in pink, violet, blue and red shine over every Better Biomes biome of Zone 3. In Pink Ice they are mostly pink and violet.
